
Terms and Conditions for Excel Security School Inc.
1. Course Enrollment and Participation
By enrolling in any of the courses offered by Excel Security School Inc. (“School”), you (“Participant”) agree to the following terms and conditions. The courses may include online instruction conducted weekly with a live virtual instructor. Please note that certain weeks may not have classes due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
Upon logging into the course, all fees are strictly non-refundable. This includes course fees and deposits to reserve your spot. Participants understand that by enrolling, they secure a spot in the course, which is in high demand, and any payment made is final.
3. Payment Terms
Participants who opt for the finance payment option agree to pay 50% of the course fees upfront and the remaining 50% upon course completion to receive their certification. Prices are subject to change, but participants will be informed of any adjustments before enrolling. Any changes in fees after the start of the course will not affect previously enrolled students.
4. Participant Responsibilities and Eligibility
It is the responsibility of the Participant to provide true and complete information during the enrollment process. The Participant is required to notify the School of any criminal offenses that may affect their license eligibility. Failure to disclose such information may result in dismissal from the course without a refund. Late arrivals to virtual or in-person classes may result in denied entry at the discretion of the administration.
5. Job Placement Assistance
While Excel Security School provides job placement assistance to graduates, there is no guarantee of employment. The School provides resources and guidance to help students seek job opportunities, but securing employment is ultimately the responsibility of the student.
6. Communication Consent
By enrolling, the Participant consents to receive text messages, phone calls, and emails from Excel Security School Inc. in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Prior express consent is required for the School to legally send text messages and make phone calls to the Participant’s mobile device.
7. Liability Waiver
The Participant acknowledges that participation in unarmed security courses involves inherent risks, including physical exertion and potential exposure to dangerous situations. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks and agrees to comply with all safety instructions provided by the School.
8. Hold Harmless Agreement
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the School's courses, the Participant, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby releases and holds harmless Excel Security School Inc., its officers, employees, instructors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or actions arising out of their participation in the courses.
9. No Refund Policy
Once enrolled and payment is made for any course, no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including non-attendance, withdrawal, or failure to complete the course.
10. Indemnification
The Participant agrees to indemnify Excel Security School Inc. from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of their participation in the unarmed security guard courses, including legal fees incurred by the School.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be exclusively resolved in the courts located in Broward County, and the Participant consents to the jurisdiction of such courts.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The School reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes prior to their effective date. Continued participation in the course after such changes are made will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be enforceable and shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Dispute of Charges
The Participant agrees not to dispute any charges related to their enrollment or participation in the course. All disputes should first be addressed with Excel Security School's administration for resolution.
By enrolling in any course at Excel Security School Inc., the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
